Bring Rope! Bring Friends! If you don’t have rope, some will be on hand to use, but it will be in limited supply. If you don’t have any friends with you, you will probably make some new ones. This is a good place to practice rope and ask questions. Scenes are discouraged, since that’s what the dungeon is for. Participants should remain approachable while at the hangout and lesson groups are strongly encouraged. Rope tops and bottoms of all experience levels are welcome to come learn, share, and practice their knowledge.
Mr_Blackwell is the mysterious figure that reaches each part of the show before anyone else, and makes sure that it looks magnificent, all of the electronic equipment is setup and working, and ensures that the presenter has everything else that they need. ?
Private Dancer: Seduce Your Partner(s) With Your Beautiful Body
Have you always wanted to do a striptease for your partner(s) but felt like you didn’t have the “right” body? Or just didn’t know how to put a routine together? This class celebrates all body types and will be part burlesque/striptease tutorial and part body positive reinforcement workshop for the body you have right now. Join Polyphonist, co-founder and former co-director of White Elephant Burlesque, as she helps you figure out how to select the right music and outfit, shows you some basic moves and how to build on them, and also gives you confidence boosting pointers to put it all together. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
Polyphonist (Geneviève) is a polyamorous, panromantic, gray ace switch as well as a writer, singer, and burlesque dancer. She is the Artistic & Programming Director for Jeff Mach Events and co-founded The White Elephant Burlesque Society, where she spent six years dancing, singing, choreographing, and co-directing before semi-retiring in 2012. She directed the very first production of Jeff Mach’s play “Seeds” at GKE 1. Her YA short stories have been commissioned and published online at youngentertainmentmag.com and her erotica can be found in The First Annual Geeky Kink Anthology. Geneviève enjoys floggers/flogging (especially topping for rose flogging), being thrown against walls by people she trusts, and taking long drives through upstate NY. A self-proclaimed musical theatre geek, she knows all the words to Les Misèrables and will happily do “Confrontation” with anyone willing to sing Javert’s role.
Chi, chakra, the laws of thermodynamics all play with the concept of energy. As an unorthodox approach to kink, energy play deals with many of the same principles that parallel with it- rapport, communication, trust. So why not put them together? Starting off with some group icebreaker exercises, this workshop will aim towards building the underlying connection that supports rapport and consent.
Presented by SweetGasp. Chaotic Neutral, Groovy Evil, Bringer of Cookies- these are some of the titles that can be applied to SweetGasp. Entrenched in the BDSM scene since 2012, they have worked to promote a safe environment for education, as well as bridging the gap between Muggle and Kinkster. Community and communication are the core topics in their talks, advocating for C3 (clear, concise, communication) while also mixing in sugar, spice and everything nice (and some Chemical X for kicks).
